Extended Stay America Hotels has opened its first Utah location directly south of the new "E" Center in West Valley City, Utah. This new 51,000 square-foot hotel is a three-story building containing 122 rooms as well as several suites. Each room has complete kitchen facilities including a fridge, stove, microwave, etc. There is elevator access to the entire building as well as handicapped rooms. There are also laundry facilities on the main level for customer use.

The building was constructed of woodframe with a stucco exterior. The building's colors were determined in part because the entire development was required to match a certain color scheme. Construction of this project began before access roads were constructed. Arnell-West had to build its own road so the project could get underway.

The project was completed one month ahead of the original construction schedule. Extended Stay America, Inc. develops, owns, and manages a national chain of extended stay lodging facilities which are designed to appeal to long-term guests. Extended Stay attracts a variety of users, but the most frequent customers are business travelers, construction workers, and employees working on extended assignments.
