Residence Inn by Marriott has opened another Utah location, this one is located in Sandy City, between I-15 and the Sandy City Offices. This is a three-story hotel, with 102 suites and 78,000 square feet of useable space. Each suite has a kitchenette which includes a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Each suite is also equipped with workplace accommodations for the business person.

Residence Inn caters to both the business traveler and vacationer alike, but focuses on the long term guest. The hotel has several amenities including an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, workout room, sport court for tennis and basketball, as well as a house laundry and guest laundry. There are also meeting/conference rooms available for customer use.

This Residence Inn by Marriott is owned and operated by the Woodbury Corporation, the oldest real estate developer and property management firm in the state. Over 400 workers are employed by Woodbury and its entities.
