SUBCONTRACTOR/SUPPLIER BIDDING INFORMATION

1. PLANS

Plans are available for review in our plan room at our office during normal business hours.

2. OVERNIGHT CHECKOUT

Plans are available for checkout overnight. The plans may be picked up no earlier than 4:30 p.m. and MUST be returned by 8:30 a.m. the following morning. Returning plans past 8:30 a.m. may jeopardize the privilege of checking out plans overnight.

3. BULLETIN BOARD

We keep a current listing of jobs we are bidding, the trades involved, all addenda issued, etc. on a bulletin board in our office. Be sure you review the bulletin board when in our plan room.
Arnell-West requests that you go to the receptionist desk and ask for the plans you wish to view. This will help us keep our plan room orderly. When finished with the plans, please return them to the receptionist desk.

4. BID RESULTS

In an attempt to protect the low, responsive subcontractors and suppliers, Arnell-West will not release bid results until it is apparent that the owner will or will not be awarding the contract to Arnell-West. If we are not the apparent low bidder, we will release all bid results. When Arnell-West is notified that they will be awarded the job, we will release all bid results except the low bidding subcontractor which will be released after contracts are signed. 
Please note that there are a limited number of plans in our office. There is less demand for these sets earlier than later. Please come in early to do your take-offs.

5. EIFS LIABILITY COVERAGE

Arnell-West requires that any subcontractor that performs "Exterior Insulation Finish System" (EIFS) on our projects, provide EIFS liability coverage. This provision will require "EIFS Liability Coverage Included" to be so noted on certificates of insurance. Coverage shall be primary and non-contributing and evidenced by an attached ISO Form CS 805(2-95) to the certificate of insurance.
All costs for this insurance shall be included in your bids.
